Scenario Information


     Case Summary:

     ­68M, presents to ER at 0800h with chest pain radiating to the R arm. ECG shows STEMI requiring trombolysis or PCI

     Target Learning Groups:

      Physicians, Nursing, Respiratory Therapy, Interprofessional Team

     Additional Target Learning Groups:

     ­

     Proposed Setting:

     Emergency Department

     Educational Goals:

     ­Recognize acute anterior MI and need for thrombolysis/PCI
Use of STEMI PPO
Respond to arrest following ACLS Guidelines, including targeted temperature management
Demonstrate high quality CPR
Review and demonstrate cooling techniques
