Scenario Information


     Case Summary:

     ­58 y.o. Caucasian male presenting with chest pain at work during argument with co-worker. 45 minutes of central chest pain and SOB. Witnessed arrest. Immediate bystander CPR

     Target Learning Groups:

      Physicians, Nursing, Respiratory Therapy, Specialist, Interprofessional Team

     Additional Target Learning Groups:

     Proposed Setting:

     Emergency Department

     Educational Goals:

     ­Apply basic ACLS protocols
Demonstrate management of: chest pain, acute MI & VF arrest
Perform high quality CPR, defibrillation, intubation, ECG Interpretation
