Patient Description:
Name: Ace Bennett
Age: 45
Weight: 60kg
Immunizations: none
Hx of current condition: Post-op day 1 from elective cholecystectomy. Patient has been slightly hypotensive 95/60 on the evening shift change, completely asymptomatic. Surgical resident ordered a 500mL bolus of Voluven. Shortly after the bolus was started the patient felt warm and flushed, also felt general pruritis.
Social Hx: smoker
Diagnosis: Epilepsy.
